19 November 2002 An experiment, since I've had to learn in a
hurry how to convert Ansible to PDF format (because the paper masters
for the American edition were shredded by the post office). So here, for you
paper purists, is what Ansible
184 (November 2002) looks like, as a PDF intended for A4 paper. The print
edition stops at the end of page 2. It was a pain to do, so don't expect every
issue in this format!
5 November 2002 A bit of barrel-scraping here, with the
addition of the final (according to me) PCW
Today computer magazine columns, for the
May 2001 and
February 2002 issues. Also an addendum
to a 1993 column -- a scanned list of Striking
Similes from the writers' self-help book mentioned there.
1 October 2002 The Adelphi
Coracle -- the complete run of the 1994 Eastercon newsletter, without
notes or glossary! For real fanatics only.
30 September 2002 The For Sale page [now abolished, alas]
lists a further pile of Langford stories now available as e-books from
Fictionwise.com [which is also no more].
New additions in 2002: "The Arts of the Enemy", "Blood and
Silence", "The Case of Jack the Clipper", "The Case That
Never Was", "Ellipses", "The Facts in the Case of Micky
Valdon", "The Motivation", "Not Ours to See", "Out
of Space, Out of Time", "The Repulsive Story of the Red Leech",
and "Sex Pirates of the Blood Asteroid". Heliograph -- the complete run of the
1993 Eastercon newsletter, with notes and glossary! For fanatics only.
